Excel 2013 oart.dll crash
I’m getting constant Excel 2013 crashes when I try to format trendline or graph axis.
Error logs refers to Exel.exe and oart.dll.
I have read through all similar threads and no viable solution so far. I have properly uninstalled office and then installed. Now I performed a clean Windows 10 install and immediately installed Office (latest available image) with the same result. Everytime I try to format trendline or axis it crashes, referring to oart.dll. Tried 32bit and 64bit Office with the same results.

OArt.dll is the «OfficeArt» program file. But I have not been able to find a specific definition of what it handles.

I have tried the mentioned repair methods earlier. However now I have completely formatted my computer and re-installed windows 10, then installed fresh new Office 2013 (downloaded from Office site).
The problem persists.
Do you think Procdump log would be helpful to solve the problem? Could this be a some unnoticed bug from Microsoft?

Yes, there is a small chance this is a bug in Office. But you would have to come up with a procedure that someone else could follow to recreate the error. I don’t have access to 2013 to test it.
Another thing you can try is the following trouble shooting process.
— start your (problem) Office application in Safe mode, try to recreate the problem
— if it continues, start Windows in safe mode, test again.

Try following one by one as see after every step whether it resolves the issue-
1. Run Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool 2.2 to list down problem issues
2. Try repairing your office installation (Quick repair is good enough) — SKIP it as you have already tried this.
3. Please look into C:UsersUser_NameAppDataRoamingMicrosoftExcel (replace user name with your user name, you can directly reach here by copy and pasting following without quotes in Explorer address bar — «»%appdata%MicrosoftExcel»») and see if is contains few files / folders. Move those files to some other location (i.e create a backup of those files / folders and delete all files / folders from here). Hence, make Excel folder blank.
Now open the file and see if the problem disappears or not.
Note — If the above path is not applicable for your installation, you need to find XLSTART path. Excel folder contains XLSTART folder in itself (In case, your XLSTART path is not in Appdata)
